Malzahn to Remain Coach?

Phillip Marshall of Auburn Undercover is reporting that Gus Malzahn is likely to accept a reduction in the financial terms of his contract to remain head football coach at Auburn for another season.

His current buyout is ridiculous, and leaves Auburn with little flexibility when it comes to making changes at the top, if and when it becomes necessary.  With the reduced buyout, it sounds like Auburn better show up in 2019.
